A midsummer drink to freshen up the last weeks of holidays.

Last month we were in South Tyrol wine tasting again. While the wine was delicious (posts on that coming soon), we needed a freshening drink for the summer heat so we decided to go for a Hugo, I'm glad we did so now I'm sharing its easy and super fresh recipe:

1 part of elderflower syrup (you can get it at Ikea)
3 parts of sparkling wine (dry like prosecco, not sweet)
2 fresh mint leaves
1 teaspoon of lime juice
1 slice of lime to garnish
ice cubes
Put all ingredients in a wine glass, mix gently and enjoy!
(you can of course adjust the quantities of syrup and wine to your taste)
