Pumpkins in Tivoli

Although Halloween is behind us, I wanted to share this few pictures from Tivoli gardens in Copenhagen, which became a pumpkin wonderland in the past weeks.

Tivoli is the second oldest amusement park in the world (first one is Dyrehavsbakken, north of Copenhagen), it is one of the most popular amusement parks in Europe; inside it there are rides and attractions, restaurants, gardens, fountains, an artificial lake, skating rink in the winter, theaters, amusement arcades, fireworks, etc.

I had been to Tivoli several times, but never for Halloween, I must say I was impressed with the amount of pumpkins and the effort they put in transforming this place for Halloween.

The rides like the rollercoasters, carousel, ferris wheel and other attractions were fully operating, as well as the lake boats, restaurants and games. Although we didn't get to any of the rides, it was fun to walk around, have a hot dog, smørrebrød and some cake and enjoy a mild autumn day in Copenhagen.

Tivoli is reopening for Chritmas season with lots of lights and decorations on November 15, so if you're around, be sure to drop by.
