Waiting for Expo 2015: Types of tickets

Hi again! -8 days to Expo! we're getting excited! (and also a bit nervous about the completion of the pavilions, but hopefully they'll make it on time - or a week later...)
So, which ticket should you get?
Here's the deal:
image from the Expo official website

The Expo area is supposedly a huge space over 1 milion square meters containing 58 self-built participating countries pavilions, 9 clusters (for all other countries grouped by common themes), an open air theater (where a special production by the Cirque du Soleil will have daily shows), lake arena, corporate hospitality areas, children park, food&drink areas and all other services.
So if you are coming for a short period (a weekend maybe) a day pass or even a 2-day pass might be a good option for you - keep in mind that some pavilions will also be selling typical food and that there will be many events inside the site so you'll have plenty to see and do.

These are the tupes of tickets and the prices up to date:

(tickets purchased before the start of Expo (May 1st, 2015)

OPEN DATE: The ticket may be used on any day from May 1 to Oct 31, 2015 for a single visit, from 10:00 to 23:00. (sign up to MyExpo ahead of time to set the date of your Expo visit, and to check for available events on the day to avoid the -unlikely- event of the maximum capacity of the site, in which you won't be able to access. Remember that once you have set the date for your visit to Expo Milano 2015, your ticket cannot be changed. If you have an Open Ticket and have not set a date, you can turn up on the day and may be admitted, if space is available.)

So these are tickets, now you choose which one is best for you!
Personally, since I live here and I'm actually excited about the Expo and I want to check out all the pavilions and eat in all those places (and also go to the Cirque show) I'll be getting the Season Pass.
Remember that besides buying the tickets online, you can also buy them at the Expo Gate located in the city center Piazzale Cairoli (you won't miss the huge white structure that most Milanese people hate because it obstructs the view of the Castle) and also in these authorized places.

More info about ways to get to the Expo site and other info in the next posts!
