Zoetry Villa Rolandi, Isla Mujeres - The Hotel

Holidays in a Mexican paradise...

We spent a fantastic week at the new Zoetry Villa Rolandi some months ago but I hadn't managed to post the photos sooner, anyhow, here they are, hope you enjoy them and perhaps if you haven't decided where to go on holidays yet, this is definitely an idea to consider.

Remember how we were pampered and taken care of at the beautiful Zoetry Casa del Mar in Los Cabos? Well, we do, so when picking a new resort for our holidays we had it clear, it has to be a Zoetry resort, and since the Villa Rolandi is the newest one (opened in November 2014), that's where we headed to.

The Villa Rolandi was the finest hotel in Isla Mujeres (the tiny island in front of Cancun) when the Zoetry people (AM Resorts) moved in, and I'm sure nothing's changed, if not improved.

The many nostalgics of Villa Rolandi's old formula (no meals included) should come and see by themselves. When Zoetry took over, they applied their "Endless Privileges" formula, which basically means all-inclusive, but if you've been to a Zoetry resort or read our review, you know it's much more than that, as its name says, endless pampering and luxury.

The fantastic staff that the old Villa Rolandi was well-known for mostly stayed and they truly were great, called you by name and went out of their way to make you feel, I would say at home but this was way better than home!

To sum up, besides the all inclusive formula with healthy and delicious food in the famous Casa Rolandi restaurant (everything made to order), the brand new fusion cuisine Le Métissage - dedicated post to the amazing food coming up soon -

Besides, 35 oceanfront suites with jacuzzi in the balcony (also dedicated post to the rooms coming up), 24h room service, mini-bar, unlimited drinks, maid service 2/3 times a day, complimentary beach bag, no check-in or check-out times, welcome bottle of tequila, complimentary overnight laundry service, complimentary relaxing 20 minute massage, complimentary wi-fi and worldwide calls, entertainment activities (yoga, wine and tequila tasting, cooking class - also coming in a future post), etc.

Another nice feature is the private deluxe yacht transfer from Cancun to the hotel for arrival and departure (check with the hotel the times when this service is available before booking). From the moment you arrive to the Playa Linda pier and jump in the Coccoon, the holidays start!
